The meeting was well attended by staff, students and community members.
During the public comments, Robbie Adams spoke to the board regarding the upcoming eighth grade trip. Kenita Langston also asked for the board’s support in the efforts to stop the governor’s plan to consolidate the Illinois State Police Communications Centers. Several attending parents also asked questions of the board and Superintendent Steve Ptacek regarding proposed cuts in the school’s budget.
