Business owners in Metropolis and Massac County are urged to help spread a message of hope by joining the American Cancer Society and Massac County Relay For Life and "Paint the Town Purple" on Wednesday through Friday.

Businesses, community organizations and individuals are being asked to show their support for Relay and help raise awareness for the fight against cancer by decking out the town — including homes, restaurants, businesses, schools, meeting halls or other areas -in purple.
