Born Dec. 21, 1956 in Rosiclare, Mrs. Koerner was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Koerner of Cave-in-Rock; one daughter, Rachael Cosgrove and husband Tim of Chicago; two sons, Thomas Charles Koerner and Joseph Koerner and wife Kasi, all of Metropolis; two grandchildren; and one brother, Timothy Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Galena Blaine Dalton Jr.
As per her wishes, Mrs. Koerner will be cremated, and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Hardin County Funeral Services and Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
