Circuit court terminates 49 cases in June

The Massac Circuit Court terminated 49 cases during June. There were 32 guilty pleas, five supervisions and 12 dismissals.

Under felonies, Amanda M. Jones, 107 E. Seventh St., pleaded guilty to robbery. She was sentenced to four years with the Illinois Department of Corrections, ordered to pay restitution of $220 and to pay costs only.

Cal Moore, 1113 Metropolis St., pleaded guilty to aggravated driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to 14 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $2000 plus costs, ordered to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Melanie Robbins, 3504 Massac Creek Rd., pleaded guilty to deceptive practice. She was sentenced to 30 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to pay restitution of $1287, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Jeffery Leffler of Mt. Vernon pleaded guilty to robbery. He was sentenced to 60 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Corey S. Miller, no address given, pleaded guilty to theft. He was sentenced to 180 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to pay restitution of $5253, to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Jordan L. Pannell of Symsonia, Ky. pleaded guilty to robbery. He was sentenced to four years with the Illinois Department of Corrections, ordered to pay restitution of $220 and to pay costs only.

Tina D. Funk of Brookport pleaded guilty to driving while driver’s license is suspended. She was placed on 18 months probation, fined $1000 plus costs, ordered to consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Funk also pleaded to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 364 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation and fined $750 plus costs.

Keithphanna Johnson, 216 W. 10th St., pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance. Johnson was sentenced to eight years with the Illinois Department of Corrections and to pay costs only.

Craig T. Montgomery of Elizabethtown, Ky. pleaded guilty to robbery. He was sentenced to four years with the Illinois Department of Corrections, ordered to pay restitution of $220 and to pay costs only.

Jeffrey S. Reed, 416 E. Sixth St., pleaded guilty to unlawful failure to register as a sex offender. Reed was sentenced to 180 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to ordered to complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages, register as a sex offender and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Randy L. Bradley Jr. of Brookport pleaded guilty to robbery. He was sentenced to four years with Illinois Department of Corrections, ordered to pay restitution of $220 and to pay costs only.

Denise A. Gilbert, 1101 1/2 E. Seventh St., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetime. Gilbert was sentenced to 60 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs and ordered to complete 50 hours of public service.

Robert O. Moreland, 307 W. 11th St., pleaded guilty to a felon with a possession of a weapon. He was sentenced to 180 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, and fined $500 plus costs.

Under misdemeanors, Jerry L. Hicks of Rosiclare pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed on 12 months conditional discharge, fined $750 plus costs, ordered to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Daniel Betancourt, 2139 Busclas Lane, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was placed on 12 months conditional discharge, fined $300 plus costs, ordered to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Tammy A. Hornback, 700 W. Sixth St., pleaded guilty to retail theft under $150. She was placed on six months conditional discharge, fined $250 plus costs and ordered to pay restitution of $90.

Joseph W. Eno, 1018 Ferry St., pleaded guilty to battery. He was placed on 12 months conditional discharge, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to pay restitution of $974 and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Wednesday N. Gray of Metropolis pleaded guilty to criminal trespass to state land and to disorderly conduct. She was placed on six months conditional discharge, on each count, to run concurrent, fined $200 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Christopher Ware of Bowling Green, Ky. pleaded guilty to unlawful use of weapons. He was fined $300 plus costs.

Sarah J. Legereit, Parkview Apartments, pleaded guilty to retail theft. She was placed on 12 months probation and fined $150 plus costs.

Travis L. Thomas, 411 W. Eighth St., pleaded guilty to endangering the life and health of a child. Thomas was placed on six months conditional discharge and fined $300 plus costs.

Leslie Martin Windhorst, 3151 North Ave., pleaded guilty to domestic battery. Windhorst was sentenced to 180 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to pay restitution of $500, complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Christopher Gibson, 205 W. Fourth St., pleaded guilty to battery. He was sentenced to 60 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $300 plus costs, ordered to complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Amanda Pierce, 1807 Baynes St., pleaded guilty to battery. She was placed on 18 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to pay restitution of $2268, complete counseling, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Troy R. Choate, 710 E. Seventh St., pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was placed on six months conditional discharge and fined $200 plus costs.

Ashley N. Marrow of Paducah pleaded guilty to disorderly conducted. Marrow was placed on three months conditional discharge and fined $100 plus costs.

Charles Harris of Brookport pleaded guilty to battery. He was placed on six months conditional discharge and fined $200 plus costs.

Crystal D. Hale, 1809 Baynes St., pleaded guilty to battery. She was placed on 18 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to pay restitution of $2844, ordered to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Sonya Kay Schneider, 1708 Filmore St., pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 120 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $1500 plus costs, ordered to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Jodi McDaniel, 3644 Macedonia Church Rd., pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 60 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $750 plus costs, ordered to complete alcohol/substance abuse treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Derek R. Cunningham, 911 E. Second St., pleaded guilty to domestic battery. He was placed on six months probation, fined $250 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.
