Danny Wayne Williamson, 64, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Ga.
Mr. Williamson was a retired computer technician and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Kai; one daughter, Marie Williamson; one son, Robert D. Williamson; two grandsons, John Camara and D.J. Williamson; and two granddaughters, Katherine Williamson and Sarah Williamson.
Visitation was held Monday at Brookport Funeral Home with the Illinois Army National Guard honors team conducting military rites.
Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home of Metropolis was in charge of arrangements.
