Donald L. Enghausen, 89, of Tallahassee, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 in Tallahassee, Fla.

A memorial service will be held at Joppa Missionary Baptist Church gym on Tuesday, March 26 from 6-8 p.m.

Born Nov. 11, 1923 in Sibley, Donald was the only child of the late Christopher Ben and Maud F. Nelson Enghausen.

He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army and was a teacher for Joppa-Maple Grove Schools.

He enjoyed horseback riding and was active with USA Dance Chapter 6010 in Tallahassee.

He also enjoyed reading.

Donald is survived by a daughter, Barbara Gossett; granddaughter, Shelly Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Corey, Allie and Zoie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita M. Young Enghausen; and a son, Michael Enghausen.
