Mrs. McDaniel was a cook for Tecco Barge Lines.
Survivors include one son, Joe House and wife Evelyn of Brookport; two grandsons, Larry Joe House and wife Jaclyn of Columbus, Ohio and Ben A. House and wife Mevelyn of Madisonville, Ky.; three great-grandchildren, Anne Puckett, Sarah House and Brian House; and one sister, Melva Jean Giltner of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Artie Owens Neftzger; her husband, Ben L. House; three sisters, Mabel Denson, Mildred Brannum and Louise Stubblefield; and two brothers, Tyra Neftzger and Donald Neftzger.
Graveside service was held Sunday at Hamletsburg Cemetery in Pope County.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home of Metropolis was in charge of arrangements.
