Edna “Kakky” Kean Eastwood, 89, of Karnak, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.

Mrs. Eastwood had attended First United Methodist Church in Karnak.

She retired from the Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

In earlier years, Mrs. Eastwood worked at Main Brothers Box and Lumber Co. in Karnak.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay Ann Jones and husband Curt of Brentwood, Tenn. and Rebecca Lynn and David Miller of Grand Chain; 11 grandchildren, Randy Ashby, Malinda Ashby, Kimberly Butwell, Jason and Julie Eastwood, Kristen Henry, Breanna Bievenue, Dustin Eastwood, Monica Brown, Miranda Miller and Tracey Jones; 10 great-grandchildren, Taylen and Kylee Ashby, Lila Tolbert, Allison Eastwood, Lillian and Lucas Henry, Cayden Bievenue, Ashley and Emily Brown and Arissa McClellan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Eastwood; her parents, Charles and Hattie Lowe Wilson Kean; one daughter, Renee Ashby; one son, Randy Eastwood; six sisters, Claris Wilson, Martha Clark, Alice Summers, Louise Eastwood, Erma Hogg and Blanche Neimeyer; and four brothers, Vance Wilson and Owen, Joe and John Kean.

Funeral service was held Monday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with Rev. Steve Heisner officiating.

Burial followed at the Masonic Cemetery in Belknap.
