Survivors include one son, Thomas Paris and wife Wanda of Brookport; one daughter-in-law, Susan Paris of Paducah; two daughters, Linda Ward and husband Jim of Benton, Ky. and Carla Paris of Paducah; 4 grandchildren, Dennis Paris of Brookport, Bobby Turner and David Lee Paris and wife Marcy, all of Paducah, and Melina Draffen and husband Burt of Metropolis; four great-grandchildren, Emma and Aiden Paris of Paducah and Sumar Holt and Taylor Russell, both of Metropolis; two sisters, Louise Chandler of Dallas, Texas and Silvia Pearcy and husband Maurice of Brookport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lennie and Lee Adkinson; her husband, Vernell Paris; one son, John Paris; five brothers; and one sister.
Funeral service was held Sunday at Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Pearcy officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Sterling Cemetery.
