Mr. Griffith was of the Baptist faith, retired from Inland Steel and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Mounce Griffith of West Paducah; three daughters, Alicia Ronco Kingsley and husband John of Paducah, April Ronco Spurrier and husband Jason Meikle of Omer, Mich. and Holly Griffith Boomsma of Chesterton, Ind.; one son-in-law, Chester Turner of Portage, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Connie Heflin and husband Jeff of Valparaiso, Ind.; one brother, Dale Griffith and wife Pat of Brighton, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Wayne and Imogene Tucker Griffith; and one daughter, Andrea Ronco Turner.
Funeral service was held Tuesday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Brenda Rust officiating.
