"We're excited," said Pastor Joe Buchanan on Sunday. "We're not really closing the church, just the building."
There were a lot of extra tears and hugs Sunday morning as members prepared to hold their last church service in the building located at Sixth and Girard streets. It was a day described by many members as "bittersweet."
