According to an article in the Bee-Picayune newspaper in Beeville, Texas, Clevenger was driving a 2005 Lincoln Navigator, with her father beside her, when she pulled out in the path of a 2013 Peterbilt truck.
The truck struck the SUV’s driver’s side door.
Clevenger died instantly, and her father died prior to the arrival of a medical helicopter.
She was wearing a seatbelt, but her father was not.
Clevenger was the wife of Bee County Deputy Taylor Clevenger, and her in-laws, Mike and Linda Clevenger, were the First Responders who were dispatched to the call and were among the first rescue workers there.
