Fort Massac hosts disc golf tourney

Sixty-four disc golfers from as far away as Green Bay, Wis. and Atlanta, Ga. took part in a PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) sanctioned event held Saturday in Fort Massac State Park.

Local enthusiasts laid out a par 55, ~6600’ (~2200 yards) course Friday and many of the participants got in their practice round.

The course covered a great deal of the park and looked like a fairly long trek to an untrained eye.
