Frances Joan Stricker, 75, of rural Karnak, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

Born Oct. 2, 1935 in Karnak, Mrs. Stricker was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Wayne Stricker of Karnak; one son, Bobby Stricker and wife Sandra of Karnak; one daughter, Carol Ann Kineman and husband Ronald of Reevesville community; three grandsons, David Stricker, Brantley Stricker and Daniel Kineman; two brothers, Art Bunch and wife Betty of Paducah and Gary Bunch and wife Tina of Cypress; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest “Pete” Bunch and Etta Johnson Bunch; three sisters, Dorothy Griffey, Opal Boyd and Mary Bunch; and one brother, Walter Bunch.

Funeral service was held Saturday at Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Aquila Penrod officiating. Burial followed at Anderson Cemetery in the Boaz community.
