Born in Karnak on Aug. 29, 1928, Frank was married to his wife, Floe Ann, for 64 years, and they lived in Metropolis prior to moving to Titusville in 1965.
Frank was a licensed master barber, worked at the KSC as a high-voltage operator and a general repair technician for Brevard Parks and Recreation.
As a carpenter, he built homes for his family and friends.
He loved to sing and listen to gospel music, which brought peace to his life.
Frank is survived by his wife, Floe Crain; his son, Frankie Crain; his daughter, Kathy Murray; three grandchildren, Kevin Deshler, Stephen Scott Crain and Barbara “Bobbi” Threlkeld; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in southern Illinois.
Funeral service was held in Titusville on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Park Avenue Baptist Church.
Burial followed at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville.
