John Warren, Massac County High School’s new football coach, and his new staff will be hosting the 2013 Future Patriot Football Camp Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 5-7 at the high school football practice field.

Students in grades kindergarten through fourth will meet from 9-11 a.m., while fifth- through eighth-graders will meet from 5-7 p.m.

“The camp will give players the opportunity to develop their individual skills under the guidance of the high school staff and varsity Patriot football players,” said Warren. “Brighten your football future and make the summer of 2013 a memorable one.”

The sessions will be made up of individual and team concepts, with instruction and emphasis on flexibility and training drills to increase speed and quickness and decrease chance of injury.

All campers will receive specialized instruction from the high school coaching staff and varsity Patriot football players

The cost is $40.

To help in planning and ordering T-shirt orders, parents or guardians should pre-register their child by Friday, Aug. 2 and make checks payable to Massac County Football Booster.
