Gerald Lynn Offenburger, 60, of Gilbertsville, Ky., formerly of Metropolis, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Offenburger was a boiler maker for multiple contractors and was a member of the Union 592 Boiler Makers.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Offenburger of Gilbertsville; his mother, Mary Jean Johanson Champeah of Norman, Okla.; two sisters, Linda Roesler and Karen Gardner, both of Norman; and one brother, John Offenburger of Norman.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Edward Offenburger; and one brother, David Offenburger.

A memorial service will be held at Kentucky Lake Mission Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
