For the second time this season, Massac County’s Lady Patriots soccer team placed second in a very competitive tournament.

This time, the girls actually lost in the championship game and weren’t relegated to second place by way of a series of relative scores or some other method.

In the Centralia Invitational Tournament on April 22, the Lady Patriots knocked off the host school by a score of 6-3. They followed that win with a 0-0 tie with Trenton-Wesclin on April 23.
