Dalpe said that is the previously planned time for restart following the facility's annual production shutdown. But, he notes specific timing will be determined by completion of ongoing maintenance work.
According to Dalpe, the company has completed its comprehensive inspection of the plant, which began on May 9, and its investigation into the cause of the damage. As a result, it has made repairs to the equipment in question, made changes to some of its work processes and conducted additional training with employees and contractors.
Dalpe also noted the company shared its findings with the union and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which had inspectors on site to observe the inspection.
