The University of Illinois golf team became the third team ever to claim four Big 10 golf championships in a row with their April 29 come from behind win over Indiana.

The Illini join Michigan, 1933-36, and Ohio State, who pulled off the feat twice, 1976-1980 and their last run of five years from 1982-87 in that elite company.

The Illini win was keyed by a chip-in eagle on the last hole from red-shirt junior Mason Jacobs.

Illini Coach Mike Small had just informed Jacobs that the squad was down by three strokes with just three holes left to play.
