Janice H. Moynahan, 69, of Kevil, Ky., died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at her home.

A native of Ballard County, Ky. for over 30 years, Mrs. Moynahan owned and operated her own childcare business from her home. She was a member of Schneidman Road Baptist Church, where her husband is the pastor.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Rev. Mike Moynahan; one son, Brian Moynahan of Kevil; two daughters, Tammy Chapman and husband Jim of West Paducah and Melissa Duren and husband Ryan of Kevil; two grandchildren, Abigayle Duren and Reed Duren; three stepgrandchildren, Cameron Chapman of Harrisburg, Rachel Chapman of Metropolis and Danielle Thweatt of Fairbanks, Alaska; two sisters, LeWanda Crews of Kevil and Ruthie McCabe of Paducah; three brothers Jerry Hargrove, of Barlow, Ky., Joe Hargrove, of Kevil and Roy Hargrove, of Statesville, N.C.; and her mother-in-law, Alberta Edgerton Moynahan of Danville, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Anna Madding Hargrove; and three sisters.

Funeral service was held Jan. 23 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Frank Queen officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
