The MCHS Lady Patriot softball team is off to a 3-1 start with wins over Eldorado, Olney and Mt.Carmel.

The loss came Monday at the hands of a very fine Nashville team.

Coach Pat Clark had commented earlier that he didn’t put a great deal of stock in the three season opening wins and that Monday’s game with Nashville would give a much better indication of just how good his team is.

When asked about his team after the 5-4 last inning loss to Nashville, Clark commented, “We played a heck of a game against a heck of a team.”
