What’s goin’ on here? Not even Easter and we’re in the eighties and the Lady Patriots softball team has posted a 17-3-1 record already.

With an impressive 9-2 win over Cobden for a send-off, the girls took to the road for five games in Cookeville, Tenn. and came home from the whirlwind trip with a 3-2 record against some formidable foes.

For good measure the girls opened their conference schedule with an 11-2 trouncing of West Frankfort on Monday.
