The most sought after race in Massac County is that of the office of county commissioner. Incumbent Billy J. Hillebrand will seek re-election on the Democratic ballot. Opposing Hillebrand on the Democratic ticket will be Roy T. Cooper.
On the Republican ballot, Jeffrey K. Weber, who has previously ran for the position, will be running again and will face opposition from Tim White.
And, on the Constitution Party ballot, Tim Pearcy is the only candidate running.
