Mrs. Teckenbrock worked for 21 years at Jefferson School in Massac County. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ of Metropolis, was a COPE food pantry volunteer and made visits to area nursing homes.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Teckenbrock; one son, Ricky Teckenbrock of Metropolis; one daughter, Vanessa Fischer and husband Mark of Goreville; three grandchildren, Kaela Turley and husband Brett of Marion, Alex Fischer and wife Abbey of Herrin and Brock Fischer of Goreville; three great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Amerie Turley and Anthony Fischer; four sisters, Phyllis Throgmorton and husband Rick, Wanda Bazor and husband Jimmy, Gerry Kersey and Evelyn Mittendorf and husband James, all of Metropolis; four brothers, Roy Logeman and wife Linda, Linnus Logeman and wife Sharon, Lowell Logeman and wife Janet and Ervin Logeman and wife Carole, all of Metropolis; one sister-in-law, Lois Logeman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hilda Korte Logeman; one brother, Gilbert Logeman; and one brother-in-law, Bob Kersey.
Funeral service was held Saturday at Zion United Church of Christ with Dr. James Nelson and Rev. David Krueger officiating. Burial followed at Zion E&R Cemetery.
