The Patriot baseball team won a couple and dropped a tough one this past week.

In a make-up of a rainout, Massac County doubled up the Eagles of Vienna on March 27 by a score of 8-4.

Massac got on the board first with a pair of runs in the first inning, but Vienna reached starter Bryce McClellan for three runs in the top of the third to take a 3-2 lead.

Massac answered with three of their own in the bottom of the third and then capped things with another three spot in the bottom of the fourth.
