Mrs. Williams was born to William C. and Helen Kathryn Racey on Sept. 8, 1933 in Cypress.
She married Russell Lowell Williams on May 27, 1951.
She graduated Vienna High School Class of 1951, and she was a member of the Metropolis First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jon Phillip Williams of Pocatello, Idaho; two daughters, Rusann Wiliams Schroeder and husband Jeffery of Glenwood, Iowa and Mary Jane Williams Snow of Metropolis; one brother, Joe Racey and wife Mary; two sisters, Judy Penrod and husband Jim and Nancy Merideth and husband Danny Penrod; seven grandchildren, Edward Russell Williams and wife Jennifer, Steven Mark Williams, Harley Michael Williams and wife Holli, Casen Nicole Jacobsen, Kenneth Edward Schroeder, Ashley Louise Snow Carlsen and husband Matt and Ian Matthew Snow; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathryn Racey; her loving husband of over 48 years, Russell Williams; one son, Steven Mark Williams; one grandson, Levi Casen Williams; and one brother, John Edward Racey.
Funeral service was held Monday at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Gary Motta officiating.
Burial followed at the Masonic Cemetery in Cypress.
Pallbearers were Jeff Schroeder, Pat Penrod, Ken Schroeder, Mark Williams, Harley Williams and Ian Snow.
