Born March 31, 1924 in Cypress, Mrs. Hobson had retired from Johns Hospital in Springfield as a CNA. She was a member of Living Hope Fellowship Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Rita Ragan of Virden; two sons, Amon Bloodworth of Liberty, S.C. and Dale Bloodworth of Jacksonville, Ala.; two sisters, Verlma Warren of Washington and Wilma Altenberger of South Carolina; and two brothers, David Henry of Dongola and Vernon Henry of Cypress.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Katie Eastwood Henry; her first husband, Luther Bloodworth; her second husband, Hubert Hobson; six brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral service was held Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with Rev. Alan Milligan officiating. Burial followed at the Masonic Cemetery in Cypress.
