Michael Lee Clutts, 54, of Concord, N.C., formerly of Metropolis, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at CMC-Northeast Hospital in Concord.
Born Jan. 26, 1958 in Paducah, he was the son of Robert Lee Clutts of Lawrenceville and the late Eula Mae Blanchard Clutts Thompson, who is now in Heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife and son, Tammy Jo Clutts and Kyler Michael Clutts; sister and husband, Lora Clutts Davis and Steven “Andy” Davis; nephew and niece, Matthew and Shaye Davis; and his father and wife, Robert Lee Clutts and Elizabeth Clutts.
He attended Delmar College, majoring in marine biology, and was a graduate of the Dale Carnegie School of Business. Michael led a blessed and full life. He loved the Lord, his family and friends with all his heart. His career accomplishments include Powerton Energy, Miller Brewing Co, Coca Cola, IBC and Choice USA Beverage
Memorial service was held Friday, June 8 at Centerview Baptist Church in Belmont, N.C.
Memorials may be made to Centerview Baptist Church, 2300 Acme Road, Belmont, NC 28012, for the family. A trust fund will be set up in the near future for his 11-year-old son, Kyler.
Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Huntersville, N.C. was in charge of arrangements.
