Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at the Masonic Cemetery in Grand Chain with Rev. David Burgess officiating,
Mr. Smith was of the Baptist faith and was a retired accountant.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Johnson of Joppa; one sister, Belle Sharp of Herrin; and two brothers, Randall Smith of Joppa and Morris Smith of Centralia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Smith; and one sister, Mary Jane Smith.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
