In a defense optional shootout, Murphy managed to score last and then grind out the final seven minutes plus of the game to hang a gut wrenching 36-33 loss on the Patriots.
The loss overshadowed a huge night for senior quarterback Shaquille Moore. Moore rushed for 294 yards on 36 carries and would have been well over 300 yards if not for a couple of late sacks. Moore also toted the ball into the endzone five times for touchdowns.
