Ona J. ”Crickett” White, 68, of Metropolis, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

Ms. White retired from Honeywell Inc. and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Katie Jaco and husband Bobby of Metropolis; one son, William Trovillion and wife Cathy of Kevil, Ky.; five grandchildren, Alex Edwards of Kevil and Samantha Jaco, Paula Sue Jaco, Ryan Jaco and and Keith Jaco, all of Metropolis; two brothers, Jim Lewis and wife Shirley and Robert “Skeet” Lewis and wife Tish, all of Metropolis; and three sisters, Betty Jessing of Manchester, Tenn., Pat Colias and husband Jim of Harper Woods, Mich. and Sue Johnson of Ypsilanti, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Kathleen Haynes Lewis; and one son, Robert Keith White.

A memorial service was held Monday evening at Eastland Baptist Church in Metropolis with Chris Sielbeck officiating.

Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis was in charge of arrangements.
