With a convincing win last Thursday night at Murphysboro, Massac County’s Lady Patriot volleyball team clinched at least a share of the SIRR Ohio division crown.

With a record now standing at 27-5 overall and 8-0 in the conference, the girls assured themselves at least a piece of the conference title. Massac played Benton Tuesday, Oct. 9 at home and a win in that game would have locked up the conference title.

After dropping the first game 21-25, the ladies fell behind 4-1 in the second game before getting their collective acts together.
