On the heels of a lack-luster 7-2 loss to Murphysboro last week, Massac County’s Patriots dropped a 13-4 decision to Benton on Monday.
In the loss to Murphy, Alex Reineking was the offense with a first inning RBI triple that scored Caleb Crim and a seventh inning homerun for his second hit and second RBI.
That was all the offense that Massac could muster in the loss.
