The MCHS baseball team kept its unblemished record intact with a 5-1 win over West Frankfort Monday afternoon. The win marks the start of conference play for the boys.

Last week the boys recorded wins over Vienna and Cobden in varsity action and added a junior varsity win over Pope County after the Pirates couldn’t field a varsity team.

In the Vienna win, Caleb Crim was the winning pitcher going all seven innings and giving up five hits and two runs in a 4-2 win.
