A raucous full house got what they came to see Saturday night when Joppa’s Rangers pulled out a close one over the Pope County Pirates.
Joppa came back from a six-point deficit to pull even at 10 in the first quarter.
The Rangers took a five-point lead at 26-21 at halftime.
