Raymond Davis, 78, of Karnak, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.

Rev. Davis was a retired Pentecostal minister at Belknap Community Church. He was also a retired certified public accountant as well as a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Hand and husband Jed of Karnak and Donna Taylor and husband Mike of Creal Springs; two grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Derralene McFarland Davis; his parents, Homer and Rosa Avery Davis; two brothers, Leon and Kenneth Davis; and two daughters, Diana Palmer and Sharon Ragena Davis.

Funeral service was held Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with Rev Kenneth Capps officiating. Burial followed at the Masonic Cemetery in Cypress.
