Mrs. Kotter was a member of First United Methodist Church in Karnak and was a member of the Grand Chain Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Hale and her first husband, Warren Kotter, were owners and operators of Kotters Trucking Service in Karnak.
Survivors include one son, Bernard Kotter of Karnak; one daughter, Judy Wright and husband Bob of Karnak; one sister, Bernice Mescher of Austin, Texas; four granddaughters, Tina Canada and husband Mark of Clay City, Toni Adams of Hampton, Ga., Terri Kotter of Desota, Mo. and Jill Evers and husband J.R. of Cypress; one grandson, Clay Wright and wife Jada of Cypress; and four great-grandchildren, Megan Canada, Erica Evers, Clayton Wright and Lane Wright.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren Kotter; her second husband, Raymond Hale; her parents, Harmon and Minnie Krueger Strueve; one sister, Attie Quint; and one brother, Rueben Strueve.
Funeral service was held Monday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with Rev. Allen Milligan officiating, Burial followed at Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
