Rhonda Faye Phillips Kindred, 41, of Paducah, departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, and is now at home with Jesus.

Rhonda was born on Sept. 25, 1970.

She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a very kind and loving person and will be forever missed.

Rhonda met the Lord at age seven at First Baptist Church in Brookport.

She and her family currently attended Seven Mile Baptist Church in Metropolis.

Rhonda graduated from Massac County High School and was employed by Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

Rhonda loved reading, watching movies and had a passion for animals.

She was the former owner and operator of Doggie Daycare in Paducah.

Rhonda loved camping with her family at Hillman Ferry Campground and taking trips to the Smokey Mountains.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Terry Robin Kindred; their son, Cory Justin Kindred and his fiancée Caitlin Brooke Rudolph of Paducah; her grandparents that raised her, Roy W. “Buddy” Kennedy and Hedy F. Kennedy of Brookport; her father, David Phillips; her mother, Evelyn Crowe and husband Mickey; two sisters, Toni Phillips and Janet Crowe; and one brother, Cabron Crowe.

She is preceded in death by her uncle, Rev. Bill Cox.

Funeral service was held Sunday at Brookport Funeral with Rev. Chris Sielbeck officiating.

Burial followed at Pell Cemetery in Brookport.
