Born June 27, 1920, Mr. Hodge was a retired insurance agent for Met Life and retired from Corner Drug in Paragould. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Paragould and was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Hodge; one son, Bob Hodge and wife Debbie of Paragould; one daughter, Meryl Cupp and husband David of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; one sister, Phyllis Hodge of Metropolis; his grandchildren, Rob and Natalia Hodge of Chicago and Meggie Hodge of Denver, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Bishop and Edna Bivins Hodge; and two sisters, Helen Parkins and Ruth Korte.
Funeral service was held Thursday in Heath Colonia Chapel in Paragould with Rev. Joe Marsden officiating. Burial followed at Linwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stan Carmack, Chris Duty, Steve Foss, Paul Ford, Adam Slayton and Terry Rogers.
