The season for Massac County’s Lady Patriots bowling team ended Feb. 2 in the Mt. Vernon sectional tournament.

Bowling is one of the Illinois High School Association sports that is not classed by size, so schools of very disparate enrollments compete on the lanes.

Massac County finished 15th out of the 19 schools represented.

Massac recorded a pinfall total of 4221 to finish better than Carterville, Anna, Marion and Belleville Althoff.
