Thomas “Tom” Oldham, 72, of Metropolis, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Waldo Baptist Church in Metropolis with Rev. Trad York officiating.

Mr. Oldham was a retired respiratory therapist and member of Waldo Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Oldham of Metropolis; four daughters, Kelly Whitaker and husband Micheal and Courtney Mayes and husband Kim, all of Paducah, Shawna Stewart and husband John of Columbia, S.C. and Whitney Redford and husband Kelly of Palatka, Fla.; one son, Tommy Oldham of Paducah; two brothers, Bobby Oldham of Tiline, Ky. and Michael “Mike” Oldham and wife Pam of Ledbetter, Ky.; one sister, Betty Ann Murphy and husband Roger of Malvern, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Cody Whitaker and wife Danielle of Ledbetter, Bailey Stewart and Kenzie Stewart, both of Columbia, William Redford of Palatka and Skyler Mayes, Chloe Whitaker, Alexander Mayes and Griffin Mayes, all of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Amy Oldham; one brother, James “Ricky” Oldham; and one sister, Connie Sue Oldham.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the church.

Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
