Born in Johnston City, Mrs Ballard was a member of Belknap Christian Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Ballard and wife Beverly of Belknap and Carroll Ballard and wife Becky of Metropolis; one sister, Bobbie Montgomery of Springfield; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Ballard; her parents, William and Esta Robertson Davidson; one brother, Paul Davidson; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral service was held Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with Rev. Steve Heisner officiating,
Burial followed at the Masonic Cemetery in Belknap.
