Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Sterling Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Brookport with Rev. David LeNeave officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Sterling Church Cemetery.
Vera was born on June 29, 1928 to Walter and Alice Gower. In 1947, she married Clarence Kineman Jr. She was a member of Mt. Sterling Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include four children, Ronald Kineman and wife Carol of Grantsburg, Clarence Donald Kineman and wife Patricia of Sikeston, Mo., Sharon Werner of Unionville and Michael Kineman and wife Sandy of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Jeff Werner and wife Sheila and Kevin Werner and wife Lisa, all of Unionville, Brian Kineman and wife Maareen of Florham Park, N.J., Adam Kineman and wife Erin of Springfield, Mo., Joshua Kineman and wife Amanda of St. Louis, Mo., Chad Kineman and Kyle Kineman, both of Paducah, and Daniel Kineman of Grantsburg; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Doris Bell of Paducah; and special friend, Betty Goble of Russellville, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Marvin Dale Gower and Donald Ray Gower.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
