Mr. Hite was a former union iron worker and served in the U.S. Army during peace time.
Survivors include his wife, Sheri Hite; two sons, Billy Hite and wife Whitney and Randy Hite and wife Tonia; two grandchildren, Axl and Leland Hite; 2 unborn grandchildren; one sister, Pamela Slootweg and husband Ronald; one brother, James Hite and wife Patti; one niece, Ashley Hall; and two nephews, Chris and Bobby Hite.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack James and Virgiey Mae Curley Hite.
Funeral service was held Monday at Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. David Siere officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Kevil, Ky.
