Donald Earl Campbell, 74, of Paducah, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 at his home.

Mr. Campbell was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, worked for Modine Manufacturing Plant and retired as a van delivery driver with Amerisource Bergen, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Kaufman Campbell; one daughter, Donna Giltner and husband DeWayne of Massac County; two sons, Rick Campbell of Ballard County, Ky. and Ronald Campbell of Mayfield, Ky.; three grandchildren, Nicole Giltner, John David Giltner and Shannon Carrigan; one great-granddaughter, Jadyn Carrigan; one sister, Shirley Wyatt and husband Phillip of Paducah; one brother, Wayne Campbell and wife Betsy of San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, David Campbell; his parents, Isaac and Mattie Mae Hughes Campbell; three sisters, Fay Carroll, Kathleen Harper and Irene Campbell; and two brothers, Richard Campbell and Nelson Campbell.

A funeral mass was held at Friday at St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Buckman officiating. Burial followed with military honors at St. John Catholic Church Cemetery.
