Janice R. Hadsock, 75, of Metropolis, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 at her home.

Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Adams of Metropolis; one son, Michael Hadsock and wife Brenda of Frankfort, Ky.; five grandchildren, Jeffery Adams and wife Whitney of Metropolis, Justin Adams and wife Niki of Brookport, Robert Wilson of Lakeland, Fla. and Bertha Sutton and Brendon Holcomb, both of Frankfort; and nine great-grandchildren, Payton Adams, Victoria Adams and Dayton Adams, all of Metropolis, Maddy and Landon Coffel, both of Brookport, Samuel Sutton of Frankfort, Tori Wilson and Zach Wilson, both of Lexington, Ky., and Abagail Wilson of Winchester, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chauncey and Irma Tangman Long; and her husband of over 27 years, James Edward Hadsock.

Funeral service was held Oct. 26 at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Terry Moore officiating.

Burial followed at Tamaroa Cemetery in Tamaroa. Pallbearers were Jeffery Adams, Justin Adams, Ray Brimm, David Koeningsmark, James Hertter and Mark Story.
