A special service in honor of Veterans Day will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park, located on Metropolis Street, next to the Metropolis Public Library.
Metropolis’ American Legion, VFW, Amvets, Disabled American Veterans and other service organizations will conduct the service.
