Health insurance continued to be the main topic for Massac County Board of Commissioners in a Monday morning meeting, as John Gill, representative for Total Administrative Service Corporation (TASC), visited the meeting along with Maverick Insurance Representative Karen Arnold.

Gill said TASC is based in Madison, Wisc. and would be the third party company handling employee reimbursements through the Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA) should the county decide to stay with the Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance and switch to a higher deductible plan.

Currently county employees have a $250 deductible and the county pays for 100 percent of the employee cost of the insurance.
