Lester Hubert Mittendorf, 82, of Metropolis, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Metropolis. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the church.
